Welcome to ARMA 2025!
The ARMA annual conference is designed to promote excellence in research management. Colleagues from across the UK and around the globe will connect, learn and share knowledge through a mix of workshops, plenary sessions, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
The conference is a great opportunity to celebrate good practice in the sector and participate in a range of activities designed along themes that reflect the needs and priorities of the research management community.
The conference will take place on 17 - 19 June 2025 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). For those arriving on 17th June, we hope you will join us for an informal evening reception.

Plenary Speakers
Karen Salt
Professor Salt specializes in collective governance, systems transformation and sustainable change. At Manchester Metropolitan University, she works across faculties to harness the power of place-based research and embed equitable community/university partnerships.
Steven Hill
Steven is responsible for research funding, including quality-related funding (QR), general capital funding and the UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (UKRPIF). He also leads Research England’s research assessment and policy work, and is the chair of the steering group for the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF).
